I hear it’s a great venue for getting together to boogie.
-
Great bar to enjoy variety of hundreds of beers from around the world. Just don’t do it all at once:)

Embassy is an up-scale, high-end venue that offers trendy nightlife atmosphere. Featuring VIP booths and a capacity of 1000 people, you can ensure you will find your spot there.

Located in in Annex community just off of bloor on Brunswick Ave. It’s a new restaurant and music venue that offers some good chow and live music. Nicely decorated with a good vibe, this resto is well worth visiting.
-
Some great thin crust pizzas and you can expect much more than just pepperoni here.
-
One of the best roti places in town. Make sure to try Special #1, the roti with spinach, cheese and shrimp.

I have read many negative reviews about this place but I guess I went there without any preconceived notions and you know what? I had a great experience. The food was not 5 star but it was was a meal I would have expected to have in a small Italian village. Home made and non pretentious. Something about the vibe of that place that made it very welcoming. You decide.

A new unique culinary adventure in the dark makes its way to Toronto. Make use of all your senses except for sight to find our what you have been missing by seeing your meal.

I love the vibe of this place. Small yet cozy, rustic but original. Terrible sound system but good tunes, laid back service, eclectic decor but most importantly always delivers a great experience.
-
I really enjoy the rooftop deck where you can observe the pretentious view of Yorkville. This historic watering hole pub with its pub grub and great beer and jazz on weekends continues to deliver good times.
-
This place has all the right components of an Irish pub: great beer, nice patio, good service, great crowd, and guaranteed good time. I find the DJ does a great job at spinning what the crowd wants any given day plus it’s not unusual to enjoy some live bands too.
Make sure you don’t miss the daily specials…Guinness and free oysters on Fridays are my fav! -
It’s one of my local watering holes. Loved to just hang back with a beer in hand at the patio. The view is not stellar (parking) but after a couple of beers who cares.
-
You can’t go wrong with an event for which sole purpose is to drink more beer:)
-
Tiny, vintage, dark but cozy. A dark hole with balls and a great atmosphere. I love the laid back crowd. Don’t expect a full blown kitchen, there is barely room for the bartender.

After a long absence, they finally arrived back in T.O. U2 proved once again why they are world’s biggest rock and roll band. Bono cool and flawless as usual, the band behind him; perfection. Lights, music, atmosphere was exactly what I would have expected from a band of such caliber. The stage was spider-like creature/spaceship, massive and interactive. I swear, it was ready to take off. The show certainly did!
-
This place has a great vibe. I went there for the first time after the U2 concert with friends for a pint. This place feels like permanent Christmas decorated with red candle lights. Couple guys were playing some covers. Small, cozy, but most of all, it felt like I was at University again, at a buddy’s basement enjoying every minute of it.

According to owners::
Directly accessible down the alleyway from The Fifth’s main entrance, CABIN FIVE is Toronto’s newest party bar, launched in September 2009.The ambiance is very welcoming, helped by the warm, inviting décor which is equal parts ‘Aspen Chic’ and ‘Northern Canadiana’.
The walls are covered in rough timber. The room is dominated by two rustic wooden bars with back bars being created out of original pine windows and lit with turn of the century coach lights.
In the middle of the dance floor a unique wood wagon sits converted into a draft beer station, behind it a fireplace with an old thick piece of lumber for a mantle, moose antlers above and… cowhides on the walls, a stage built with old cedar railings, and antique tools/ toys/ trinquets throughout.
If you’re tired of the same old club scene with its overpriced drinks and doormen with attitude, then Cabin Five is the place for you. It’s a no-nonsense party bar that puts a premium on fun rather than worrying about velvet ropes.
