Event Description
Publication Launch and gallery walk-through Saturday, December 11th, 2010 from 1-4PM
Cavalcade is a large-scale collaboration by a group of illustrators,
working together throughout the run of the exhibition directly onto the gallery walls.
Using icons of pop culture, personal experience, and society
throughout history, the artists utilize the power and function of
illustration as an interpretation of reality. Through this imagery,
they explore the idea of the parade as a manifestation of the human imagination.
Participating artists: Dmitry Bondarenko, Daniel Downey, Jessie Durham, Adrian Forrow, Ali Hall, Nat Janin, Ahmed Kassem, Sean Lewis, and Javier Ortiz
