Hey guys,

After 3 and a half years of throwing crazy dance parties and Djing as a super mega group we have come to the decision, sadly, that Tight Knit is coming to an end.

DON’T FRET!

We’ve poured our hearts into Tight Knit over the past 3 years
and all that has been building up to this one last party… and it’s going to be a banger.

We expect all our old friends to be on the dance floor on this fine evening; Dancing shoes tied tight, booze in their blood and a reminiscent feeling of what was.

We’re super excited to have one of the best, most knowledgeable, most well connected and busiest female djs from the USA joining us on this fine evening. She lives in the city that invented house music – Chicago. She has a record label with one of the most respected names in dance music, Satellite Records. She writes for the United States’ top industry publications including URB and TimeOut. She tours around the world and has a host of tracks on the industry’s top labels. She also runs one of the best blogs on Hype Machine(Dsquared). This will be her first Toronto appearance and only her second time north of the border.

Duotone is a production team comprised of Adam Addison and Che DuBois. By combining their love for house and breaks with the burgeoning sounds of rock infused electro, they create a unique sound fit for both the dance floor and your iPod. Che DuBois brings production expertise and sound engineering sensibility to this creative duo. His releases on Erase Records. BugEyed and 4Play Trax, have received international airplay, and garnered positive feedback from all corners of the globe. Adam Addison is a Chicago native who effectively fuses the history of his hometown with the fresh sounds and stylized programming to create a distinctive experience everytime he hits the decks. Inthe studio, his ability to craft clever lyrics, combines with his understanding of the dance floor to help push the Duotone sound forward with every session. This is their second appearance a a Tight Knit event.
