The Canadian Premiere of New York Smash Hit!
2010 Drama Desk Award for Best Unique Theatrical Experience
July 16 at Toronto’s Panasonic Theatre

Michael Rubinoff, in association with Daryl Roth, is proud to present the Canadian premiere of the award-winning, New York smash hit Love, Loss, and What I Wore, an intimate collection of stories by sisters Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron, who together have written some of the most iconic romantic comedies in recent memory including You’ve Got Mail (solo successes include Nora’s Julie & Julia and Delia’s The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants) – running July 16-September 4, 2010 at the Panasonic Theatre.

This exciting theatrical event will feature a cast of five that rotates in four-week cycles. From July 16 – August 7, the cast will include Gemini and Dora Mavor Moore Award nominee Paula Brancati (“Degrassi: The Next Generation,” “Being Erica”), Emmy and Tony Award-winning comedy legend Andrea Martin (“SCTV,” My Big Fat Greek Wedding, My Favorite Year, Fiddler on the Roof), and Tony nominee / Dora Award winner Louise Pitre (Mamma Mia!, Les Misérables, Annie Get Your Gun, The Toxic Avenger)

Gemini nominee Lauren Collins (“Degrassi: The Next Generation”), five-time Gemini Award winner Wendy Crewson (Away From Her, “24,” “ReGenesis”), and Dora Award winner / Gemini nominee Cynthia Dale (Stratford Festival leading lady for 10 seasons, “Street Legal”) will be part of the August cycle that runs August 10-September 4.

Based on the best-selling book of the same name by Ilene Beckerman, as well as on the personal recollections of the Ephrons’ friends, Love, Loss, and What I Wore won the 2010 Drama Desk Award for Best Unique Theatrical Experience this past weekend in New York.
