Event Description
Unquestionably one of the world’s greatest virtuoso pianists, Keith Jarrett is a pioneer in jazz-rock fusion and has single-handedly revived and redefined the art of playing improvisation concerts. On par with the likes of Tatum, Parker, Coltrane and Ellington, Jarrett is one of the most diversely inspired geniuses.
Also known as the Standards Trio, Keith Jarrett, Jack DeJohnette and Gary Peacock are approaching their third decade of unequalled success and, as a result, play at the highest peaks of musical creativity and communication. Jazz’s most consistently creative piano trio is also certainly one of the most enduring, continuing to record and perform live since their first release, Standards, in 1983.
