Event Description

KHW Live

Audioblood & Ketch Harbour Wolves Present:

Ketch Harbour Wolves first full-length release – Anachronisms – played for the first time at the Legendary Horseshoe Tavern with guests, Drink Up Buttercup, Sandman Viper Command, and Clothes Make the Man.

A full-length release was a big decision for us, essentially doubling the amount of energy and work, but ultimately yielding double the amount of music – resulting in twelve songs packed delicately into the artwork pictured above.

Check MySpace and the Official Website this week for streaming previews of Anachronisms, and for the last free downloads of Dead Calm Horizon. After the release of Anachronisms, Dead Calm Horizon will no longer be available for free download online – so get it now!

Drink Up Buttercup http://www.myspace.com/drinkupbuttercupband

“Drink Up Buttercup, a quartet from Philadelphia that lunges joyously into every jangly chord and full-throated chorus… brought a smile to every face I could see, and the bashing on that garbage can lid couldn’t obscure some genuinely pretty and expressive harmonies.” – The New York Times

Sandman Viper Command http://www.myspace.com/sandmanvipercommand

“…like any good band, a great album is followed up by a great live show. Young as they may be, put these four handsome musicians on stage and you have a band with a cohesive attitude. Their tight performance chops earned them opening spots for the likes of Holy Fuck, The Arkells, The Rural Alberta Advantage, and more. "

Clothes Make the Man http://www.myspace.com/clothesmaketheman

“It’s gruff and heavy enough for the boys but also blessed with a melodic, post-break-up vulnerability that the ladies will find quite appealing. It’s what those in the biz might call ‘radio friendly’ but not in the icky, tailored-to-playlists manner.” (Ben Rayner, The Toronto Star)
