TWM: LSD Spider, Cursed Arrows, Black Magick Fox, The Bat's Pajamas

Kickass four band bill celebrating the unveiling of Owen & Kayle’s (B’MO Crazy) new project LSD Spider!

The night starts with the Bats Pajamas which is a pretty amazing band name if I do say so myself. This band should get the night off to a kickass start with their rockin’ tracks. No frills, this is a guitar/bass/drum old school style rock trio. Sometimes that is all you need.

Then we have Black Magick Fox! These guys debuted at Rancho a few months back and were the opener. I didn’t know what to expect but they just destroyed! Nobody believed me that it was their first show. Fuzzed out, super-charged hypnotic rock. One of the best new bands I’ve seen in a while.

And then it is mother f’n Cursed Arrows! Cursed Arrows are the only two piece in Ontario that can give the Speaking Tongues a run for their money. This band slays! And from time to time Toronto has been forgetful of this fact. Their live show is insanely great and they’ll give that same live show whether they are playing for 200 people or Dan Gorman. And closing the night are LSD Spider! LSD Spider is the new evil science project from Owen Norquay and Kayle Donner. It also features Owen’s little brother Chris AND Luis (Brave Deeds). LSD Spider is the most ambitious project these guys have taken on so far and might just end up being the best. But guess what? You are going to have to come to Rancho to hear it because there is no myspace yet.
