ARCADE FRIDAYS @ MOD CLUB present THE ANGRY KIDS!

TORONTO! GET READY FOR ANOTHER UNREAL FRIDAY NIGHT @ MOD CLUB!

THIS FRIDAY MARCH 5TH 2010, ARCADE PRESENTS:

In The Main Room:

THE ANGRY KIDS w/ VANESKA

Canadian trio The Angry Kids appeared on the scene a few years ago with their take on the Flock of Seagulls “I Ran.” Rather than remix credit, they got artist credit with the “vs” tag. Their take on Bob Marley’s “Mr Brown” continued the “vs” moniker and expanded their name further. Not content to focus solely on classic tracks, The Angry Kids take on the more recent (2007) song “Annie Taylor” by Portland based alternative rockers The Lives of Famous Men. The track starts off like a typical pop radio/rock record but when the beat kicks in at 1:20, the real fun starts. The track turns into an electro-based rock record, like a Fall Out Boy record. The most important thing is that music fits the beats, a sign that The Angry Kids are producers who make music and not DJs who throws acapellas over beats and call it a remix. Maybe that is why they keep getting “vs” credit.
