Dearly Beloved, Thursday Feb 11th 2010 we will gather @ Wrongbar in the sign of Detroit – and in the face of it’s people – to join together in the most devout celebration:

FOR THE D.

Commended to be honorable among all folk, we will celebrate not solely the genius of Jay Dee or Slum Village, but that Detroit sound – the body of work that has come to define The D. The D, yes simple and plain. But do not let that smooth taste fool you.

FOR THE D – is not by any – to be entered into unadvisedly or lightly – but reverently, discreetly, advisedly and solemnly.

Thursday Feb 11th 2010 @ Wrongbar, into this holy estate, Agile (More Creative), Taktiks, (Mixtape Massacre) and mymanhenri (92bpm.com), will join forces to curate the night, and take all thru the most consecrated catalog, sacrosanct selections from not only Detroit, but also the numerous who have been inspired the D.
